Isaac has 15+ years of teaching experience, working as a coach, choreographer and curriculum and program developer with leading figure skating and dance organizations. Isaac has also worked with nonprofit and community-based organizations as a curriculum consultant and facilitator.

Isaac has a background in equity-centered pedagogy (BA in Urban Studies, Education focus, Vassar College) and is committed to amplifying access to skating.

To this end, he has served as Assistant Director of the annual ice show at Philadelphia city-owned Laura Sims Skate House under coach Sultana Muhammad and worked as a curriculum consultant for Figure Skating in Harlem, redesigning their after-school Communications program in alignment with New York State K12 standards. Isaac was a founding member of the Figure Skating Diversity and Inclusion Alliance and the Contemporary Skating Alliance. 

Isaac was also the inaugural City Lead for ArtistYear during its first AmeriCorps-affiliated school year, overseeing the program rollout at 11 Philadelphia public school arts classrooms.

With Holiday on Ice, Isaac was the Line Captain for three seasons on tour, assisting with rehearsal direction and responsible for creating choreographic archives for company records.

As a skating coach and choreographer, Isaac has worked with students of all ages and levels, serving as a primary coach for grassroots skaters and supporting elite athletes as a choreography consultant ahead of international competitions.

Isaac has been a guest instructor with Ice Theatre of New York, American Ice Theatre, Krigor Studios and at the Eissporthalle in Darmstadt, Germany. He has designed and implemented off-ice dance training programs at both Crossroads FSC and the Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society and is currently coaching at Wollman Rink in New York City.
