Isaac Alan Lindy is an actor, dancer and figure skater based in NYC.
As a multidisciplinary performing artist, Isaac has worked across the U.S. and internationally in opera, theatre, concert dance and professional skating. He is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA).
Recent theatrical credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Alliance Theatre + Atlanta Opera, Bottle Dancer, u/s Nachum); The Gig at the Williamstown Theatre Festival (dir. Will Davis, Rattlestick Theater NYC); Water by the Spoonful (Morningside Theatre Company NYC, Professor Aman/Ghost).
As a dancer, Isaac has worked with Lyric Opera of Chicago (Solo Dancer, La Fille du Régiment), Opera Philadelphia (Principal Understudy, OSCAR), the Putty Dance Project (iStand, orig. cast), Ruckus Dance (Knock Out), and has performed in new and restaged works at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
As a professional figure skater, Isaac has toured throughout Europe and North America with the internationally-acclaimed contemporary skating company, Le Patin Libre (Murmuration, Venice Biennale, Théâtre de la Ville de Paris, Kennedy Center). With Holiday on Ice, the most-visited ice show in the world, he has skated 250+ performances across Europe as Line Captain (i.e. dance captain) of the ensemble (Supernova, Atlantis).
Other professional skating highlights include International Ice Stars (Principal Skater, Royal Opera House of Muscat), The Next Ice Age(Soloist, Summer Fun) and the development of original evening-length work with IceLab Leipzig (Updating Your Future…ERROR).
Isaac holds a BA with Honors in Urban Studies from Vassar College.
